Submission of panel proposals
It is our pleasure to inform you that RC34 will be a partner of Allameh Tabataba’i University (the largest public university specialized in humanities and social sciences in Iran) in holding the second international conference on “Society and Culture in the Muslim World” (http://scmwconf.atu.ac.ir) on 30-31 May 2020 in Tehran. Enjoying active partnership of a wide variety of national and international academic entities, the conference aims to provide a suitable platform for researchers from across the world interested in issues concerning Muslim societies and communities. One of the main themes of the conference concerns youth related issues and many other themes are also related to young people. The organizers plan to hold some panels on youth and therefore you are more than welcome to propose your own ideas for panels.

- Syed Farid Alatas, Professor of Sociology at the National University of Singapore.
