Position & Salary
– Post-doctoral fellowship (one year with possibility for renewal)

Duties
– Field work, analysis, data management of innovative (narrative, visual, and digital) longitudinal
qualitative data sets, writing, publications.
Projects
– Projects relating to 1) the impact of digital media on young lives across time and countries
(SSHRC), 2) youth access to mental health services in Atlantic Canada (CIHR), and 3) the
relationships between technology and mental health as experienced by Indigenous youth
Qualifications
– Completed PhD in social science, youth studies, applied health, or related disciplines
– Experience and expertise in qualitative inquiry and analysis (longitudinal)
– Strong writing skills and publication record
– Background in research with youth and technology and/or mental health
– Experience and expertise in research ethics
– Experience and expertise with NVivo and/or other qualitative analysis software
– Experience and expertise in data management (including secure file transfer and storage)
– Experience in working effectively in research team environments and with young people
– Ability to contribute and work productively in an international research team
