International Conference on Outreach Work:Youth Gangs, Violence and Female Delinquency
at the City University of Hong Kong, 3-5 December, 2015

Empirical research results, theories, models, approaches or strategies in working with youth at risk, practice wisdom and experience in outreach work are welcome.
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the International Conference on Outreach Work: Youth Gangs, Violence and Female Delinquency to be held on 3-5 December, 2015 at the City University of Hong Kong.
This conference is organized by the Department of Applied Social Sciences of the City University of Hong Kong, and co-hosted with The Asia Pacific Association of Technology and Society. Through this meaningful meeting point for scholars, practitioners and professionals relating to outreach work with young people, we expect this conference to provide stimulation for the exchange of knowledge and ideas on the ever-changing issue of youth delinquency and gang culture across the East and West, and to discuss breakthroughs in models, approaches and strategies in working with young people at risk. With concerted efforts and collaborative networks established in the conference, we hope outreach work can achieve promising effects in both the local and global contexts.
In the hope of making this conference a great success and fruitful, a wide range of scientific presentations, workshops and field visits to social welfare agencies in Hong Kong relating to youth gangs and outreach work will be organized. We truly believe that this International Conference will be a highly rewarding context drawing scholars and practitioners together contributing to the academic activities and practices in outreach work with young people. Therefore, we highly encourage you to share your knowledge, research and experience in the conference. Abstract submission for the conference is now open.
