The Department of Sociology at York University, Toronto is conducting a search for an assistant professor in Sociology of Engaged Research with Black Communities. We seek to strengthen our current teaching and research strengths through a scholar whose research is engaged with Black communities. We are interested in scholars whose fields of research are tied to one or more of the following areas: sociologies of health; environment and crisis; youth and education.
